The archive

Hanterill saves sessions on your computer. You can reopen them after restarting the app and add your own notes. The desktop app does not upload them.

Pick two, compare

Choose two saved sessions to see what changed. The comparison can show new or cleared faults, battery readings and software versions side by side.

Offline replay

Open a saved capture to inspect it without the car connected. Review a support bundle before sharing it; the export removes identifying details automatically.

Exports

You can save a session or report as a file for your own records. Before sharing it, check whether the vehicle identification number is masked and whether you chose to include location data.

  • DTC diff
    Two scans of the same car: codes added, codes cleared, status changes, snapshot evidence kept.
  • Cell history diff
    Two cell lists matched by physical index. A cell populated on only one side keeps a gap, never a zero.
  • Firmware diff
    Two inventories compared ECU by ECU: unchanged, software changed, hardware changed, new, missing, unknown.
  • Report re-scoring
    A stored session re-graded under the current rule version.
How sessions and evidence work

The inspection report uses the same archive: scored condition grades re-computable from stored evidence at any time.
